Russian team on Rupal side of Nanga Parbat has reached 7150m on Schell route. They're eager to resume the lengthy ascent to summit via Diamir face, tomorrow.
Tomek Mackiewicz and David Gottler were almost at the same point last year, when bad weather pushed them to retreat. This post from last year discusses the time required to reach summit from 7150m.
