(6/27) We had originally planned on climbing Fishhook Arete on Mt. Russell, but could not cross a creek due to high flow, so we decided to climb the east buttress of Mt. Muir on a whim because it looked cool from below. Since none of us had done any research and had very limited beta, we got off route fairly quickly and ended up in the SE couloir. Thankfully it was still a very fun mixed route (with a few sections of loose rock).
