Gerald planned to climb the Mt. Whitney summit (the highest summit in the contiguous United States and the Sierra Nevada, with an elevation of 14,505 feet) after Badwater135 but he did not attemp to climb the summit because there are still a lot of ice in the mountain. He is afraid of ice. These 4 brave friends of ours (Raul Ching, Ibar Dinampo, Ilah Maguigad and Noel Maguigad) from NJ, NYC and Chicago who went to west coast just to climb the summit with a plan to help Gerald reach his goal, did not hesitate to climb the summit the day after BW135. And they made it!!! They said it was not easy! So proud of them! Thank you so much for the support you gave to Gerald but so sorry he was not able to come with you guys going up to the summit.
