About to leave for this incredible mountain. This time I am guiding a very strong team from Sweden and the UK. If experience alone counted for anything than the summit would already be in our pocket. But since first setting eyes on the magnificent Ama Dablam (6856 m) I have learned that this ascent is never easy. Before us lays an incredible adventure. Before us lays a mountain, which will demand every bit of nerve, courage and strength we can muster.
It is hard to harbour calm thoughts about a mountain which in the past has caused so much mayhem. Still as Ahab knew, there can be no peace whilst it is still there. So, climb well we will and with the weather god's good grace we will summit.

Further exciting news is that www.360-expeditions.com is making 2018 it's Himalayan year.
Already this autumn 3 teams have returned from the beautiful Ladakh region of India having loved their Stok Kangri (6150m) expeditions. Now as I write this we are on the way to Mera peak, Island peak, Everest base-camp and the Manaslu circuit. There is little doubt in my mind that every single one of the trekkers and climbers heading out for their first taste of this incredible place will not only come back having had a great time but also a true life-enhancing experience.
