Good memories from a Chamonix Classic last week with Martin Doyle. Majorette Thatcher on the Red Pillar of the Blatiere. Unforgiving offwidths, extra wide cracks, cracks, and yet more cracks. We were glad of the jamming gloves !! Autumnal temperatures meant that the first pitch was freezing, but it got much more pleasant after that.
