Mountaineers set forth for Nepal Spring Expedition 2018
It is reported that around 45 groups comprising 226 mountaineers have been granted permission to climb various mountains in Nepal consisting Annapurna (8,091 meters, Gandaki Zone), Mt. Amadablam (6,812 meters, Khumbu) and the Himalyan giant Everest (8,848 meters, Mahalangur Himal).
The forthcoming Nepal Spring Expedition is all set to take off as mountaineers around the world and Nepal have initiated their journey towards various peaks above 6,500 meters above sea level. According to Director General of the Department, 38 liaison officers have so far been deputed to facilitate expedition teams. It has been further reported that more teams are expected to join this summer expedition.
