Successful ascent of the Kingston Traverse on 11/24-11/26/16: What was planned as a 2-day traverse turned into a 3-day traverse as the terrain turned out to be much more tedious than expected. Almost the entire traverse consisted of endless bushwhacking and scrambling on gritty/crumbly rock, save for a few isolated places where the rock was solid and fun to climb. On the last day, each of us traversed for the entire day on 1.5 liters of water and less than 500 Calories each.
