On the morning of September 30, H-80 was requested for a hiker with medical issues at Trail Camp (12,000 ft MSL) on the trail to Mt. Whitney. H-80 responded from Apple Valley and was able to land at Trail Camp to transport the patient to Lone Pine Hospital.
