Yesterday we finally got our shot at Mount Whitney and were rewarded with having the East Face route all to ourselves!!🙏❤️ For two years we tried to reserve a permit with no luck. This year I decided to roll the dice and just fly to LA, rent a car, and go stand in line for a walk up permit. I was first in line and we got a 3 day permit without issue!😜👍 The weather was fantastic all weekend, and because of the permit quota that we had hated for years, we experienced very little traffic. We actually had Iceberg Lake all to ourselves this morning as we packed up. All in all, it was more than worth the wait!🙏❤️🏔🧗‍♂️ @luv2climbrock
