Between February 20th and 22 Colin Haley @ colinhaley1 and Alex Honnold @alexhonnold crossed the Pollone Hills, Piergiorgiorgio and Dome Blanco. The first one climbed down his south face (400 m 65), living in the cabbage before the Piergiorgiorgio, then climbing "Waiting for the summit" (400 m, 70 m, 5). the north summit. Crossing Piergiorgio's summit was the most difficult and most committed section (300 m WI4➤ M5 A0). From the summit they went down to the southeast (more crosses and several rapels), living a second time before Cerro Dome Blanco, then climb the Final part of the "North Filo" (250 m, 60), and down northwest, to Marconi Glacier. They called this journey "The Crystal Castles Traverse". Despite the difficulties encountered, it was a pretty safe climbing, not finding paparazzi, no red carpets, nor journalists on the road.
