Robert Smith nearing the summit of the Grands Charmoz, Chamonix. Starting from town at 5am, Robert Smith, Alastair McDowell and Daniel Jollheaded up, and over, the North East Arete of Aiguille de L'M, then continued along the North West Ridge of the Grands Charmoz before descending back to Chamonix at 4am the next morning. It is always nice to climb a less traveled route in Chamonix and avoid the crowds. Tired bodies for the guys today, after 2500m of ascent and descent. — with Robert Smith,Daniel Joll and Alastair McDowell.
