Sometimes it doesn't count only the result but the path you choose to get it...
* Pangpoche (6.620 M) Expedition 2019 *. We knew that a Georgian expedition was climbing the pangpoche from the opposite side and was in clear advance compared to us, but we were motivated to leave a mark on this beautiful mountain! We pointed the South West Ridge and already at the beginning of the month, before going up to the base camp, we had made a deposit at about 5100 MT.
On 3, 4, 5 October we made our try. Unfortunately the conditions were not the best in fact the abundant snowfall made by the tail of the monsoon downloaded a lot of snow already from 4500 M. Also our general evaluations on the ridge proved very rough because our itinerary was extremely long and complex!
In 2 days of climbing we climbed 2300 Mt of via (for the summit we were missing 800 m. ) that we can evaluate d+ with steps of 4/4 + and slope up to 50 degrees all with by ridges are and exposed!
