Always good to get to Chamonix, this time with my friend Pete Muhlburger for a two-day ascent of the rarely climbed Periades Ridge and then up the Grand Capucin as well as the Kuffner Ridge.

Here are some shots from day one, where you can see the Mer de Glace Glacier below as well as the tiny bivy hut at about 3300m where we slept the first night. Pretty nice sunset view from the hut of the Aguilles du Chamonix. I have nice memories of that ridgeline, which I traversed by myself back in 2010.
