Days 2 & 3 here in Chamonix. Day 2 was a fun but very dry & quite loose mixed route with
Stuart
on the Grand Flambeau. Day 3 was out with the strong team of
Guy
&
Ally
, Ally's idea was to do something original on the Point de la Noire (Beau Comme un Rêve). The climbing was mostly good apart from the sugary ice just whenever it got steep! Unfortunately reverse thrusters had to be engaged from quite high on the route. The ski out on one hand was beautiful and on the other combat! Back into the mountains tomorrow for my last 2 days.https://www.facebook.com/mark.w.chadwick
