Skyline got a pretty good snow-dump the other day. Ellen, Marilyn, Craig, and a hiker we invited to tag along, Michael from Ohio joined me for the romp from the desert floor to the tram yesterday. Wildflowers are beginning to show, and even a few cactus blossoms were open. The first patches of snow appeared before Florian's rest stop. There was full coverage by the time we got to Flat Rock, and by the time we got to Coffman's Crag we were post-holing a bit. We enjoyed perfect breezy conditions, much appreciated by us polar bears.
