Many interesting ski descents in Patagonia in the last few months. 
.
Recently Julian Casanova and Joaquin Paul did the first ski descent of Cerro Rincón via its northeast face, following the line of the Comesaña-Palma route, making one 30m rappel (photos 1 and 2). 
.
Around the same time Valerio Arquint and Matt Ruta skied the hanging glacier on the south face of Cerro Electrico, likely a first. (photo 2 and 3). 
.
Earlier, Cristobal Señoret and Nico Secul did the first ski descent of Cerro Almirante Nieto in Paine, skiing the northeast face, following the line of the route Genesis (photos 5 and 6).

Just before Cristobal Señoret, Nico Secul and Tomas Marusic did the first ski descent of Monte Balmaceda (photo 7). 
.
Also in Paine, Nico Secul with Nico Gutierrez and Maria Jesus Riquelme skied from the col between Torre Central and Torre Sur in Paine (photo 8 and 9).
