Congratulations to Rich Ward and Kevin Ash for completing the Grand Traverse in it's entirety! Thanks to Tyler Jones for being a boss and to JHMG for the opportunity to guest guide in the Tetons. We couldn't have done it without Tim Brown carrying some food to the lower saddle for us and to the great crew at Exum for humping some of our bivy gear out. With lighter packs we were able to complete the traverse from the Lower Saddle to Nez Perce on our last day, so thanks everyone! If you haven't done the GT and are aspiring to, go do it! It's a massive Traverse over 10 prominent peaks in the Tetons, with 12,000' of climbing, over 14 miles, with difficulties up to 5.8. It's truly hard to believe two different super humans have literally ran over these mountains in under 7 hours, insane! And I truly can't think of a more impressive Traverse in the lower 48, anyone?

Interested? I think I might be going back next year...
