I am always plotting and looking for ideas for hikes/climbs. The Middle Fork Kaweah River trail has always intrigued me as I pass it on my way to the high country. The trail follows the Kaweah River from 2,800’ and goes up to either Black Rock Pass at 11,600’ or Kaweah Gap at 10,700’. Many 20-30 mile hikes could be done. Hmmmmm

So, after climbing Silliman the day prior, I convinced James to trek on out and see what we find. I am hooked. I’ll be back
