Ueli Steck
Quick Day from Basecamp up to 7000m and back. I love it its such a great place here. I still believe in active aclimatisation. This is way more effective then spending Nights up in the Altitude!

On Saturday the crew of H-70 performed a high-altitude rescue of a climber injured by an avalanche along the Mountaineers Route to Mount Whitney. The climber was safely flown to Lone Pine Airport where he was transferred to the care of an ambulance crew. Compliments to the crew for their excellent work in such a technically-challenging environment. The victim and his family are grateful for your public service.

Echo Traverse (4/22-23)- an extremely easy and scenic traverse to start the Sierra season! The postholing was knee deep in a lot of places and I was stupid enough to not bring snowshoes.

First Alaska trip for 2017 down. Back in Anchorage. Managed to top out the Mooses tooth via "ham and eggs" with Mountain Madness. Perfect weather and found the route in fairly good condition despite warm temps. Hoping the next couple trips into the range this year go just as smooth.

Pamir mountains of kyrgyzstan are not still a frequent destination of climbing expeditions, at least in Europe. So the environment is still very wild and Rocky, characterized by massive walls." gianni ghiglione speaks of the expedition carried out in the summer of 2016 and the new line on the west wall of small asan.
