Summit of #mtwhitney! 20.8 miles and 6,775 feet of elevation gain. 15 hours of ice, snow and post holing to your hip brutal climb. The snow ice ledge on the backside was crazy for about 2 miles. Didn’t think we would be able to summit this early after the huge snow year the Sierra’s had. Crampons and ice axes after the first 2 miles. @kaznodak1 is a beast, so glad we got to do this together.
