Avalanche hits climbers on Monday!Climbers were on Pakistan-Italian Friendship Expedition. scaling a peak (5300 meter high) of Hindukush mountain range situated in Ishkoman valley, Ghizer when a snow avalanche hit climbers killing one local guide Imtiaz from Shimshal valley and injuring six climbers including foreigners.According to the Adventure Tours of Pakistan, which has organised the expedition, two army helicopters would start rescue operation to airlift the injured mountaineers on Tuesday morning provided good weather condition.
