Alastair McDowell & Daniel Joll welcoming in the new year with an ascent of the North Face of Aiguille Du Jardin, Chamonix. The pair found surprisingly good conditions on the face despite a general lack of ice on the North Faces of the Argentiere basin. They climbed a combo of two existing routes with a few new mixed pitches in the middle (thanks to getting lost in the dark :-) )
