(09/16/2019) new!
Sudden change of plan at Nirmal Purji

At the final stage of his ambitious “ Project Possible - 14/7”, Nirmal Purja unexpectedly changed his ascent plan.
September 14, he flew to Cho Oyu.
Just a few days ago, the gurkha appeared in the base near Manaslu and it seemed that he was going to climb it in his swift style.
But already today he wrote on his page: “This morning I ran away from the base near Manaslu in Samagau to catch a helicopter to Kathmandu. In a few hours I will go to China to climb Cho Oyu.

Visiting Alaskan @seth.d.adams had one day left in Chamonix before heading to the south of France to marry @faust.bernie, his HFG (hot French girlfriend). Yesterday we climbed Aiguille du Peigne (a new summit for me), by the upper North Ridge. It was a high-quality, old-school route, with some stellar pitches, sandbagged ratings, and unfortunately some loose, scary blocks. I was informed before the climb that if Seth were to die, his HFG would yell at me. When Seth decided to grab the loosest block I've ever seen (and had strongly warned him of!), it seemed he was trying to get me yelled at. Fortunately he didn't kill anyone below, and although he bloodied several fingers on his left hand, his ring finger was the only one unscathed... I guess that ring will still fit! @patagonia_climb @petzl_official @scarpaspa @totemmt @ Chamonix, France

It’s been a fun few days with the team preparing for Mont Blanc. Peaks up to 3500m, and a traverse of the Vallee Blanche have given the team a head for heights, acclimatisation and good mileage on crampons. We are now at the Refuge Tete Rousse waiting to set off for the summit of Mont Blanc tomorrow. #fingerscrossed British Mountain Guides Arc'teryx
