October 8th 2019 -- Old Tat Breaks on Evolution Traverse (Sierras) - November Rock and Ice
Donatas Jonikaitis, Eric Newcomb, and Toshimoshi Hosaka made November Rock and Ice due to my alpine anchor mishap. Not long ago I had never imagined my name in a widespread publication nor that my appearance would be due to making a near-fatal mistake, but contributing to the prevention of injury and death will be more useful than our (belated) American Alpine Journal entry for another trip, so I'll live with it.
