Three “paralpinists” from the Groupe Militaire de Haute Montagne Gmhm Chamonix spent five weeks in the area looking for base-jumping “exit points.” This as part of a National Geographic Adventure film that is scheduled to come out in June.
Pierre Sancier, Arnaud Bayol and Alban Alozy, jumped the west face of Moj√≥n Rojo on January 26th, landing 1300 meters below. On February 6th, they tried to jump down the north face of Aguja Poincenot, but wind got in the way. On February 8th, they jumped the west face of Aguja de l’S, down the route “Besos to Pesos”, flying 1300 meters.
